The Hawks hosted Coopersville on 4/15 in a matchup of former conference foes.

The first half was a 0-0 stalemate,  as both teams created scoring chances, but were thwarted by the opposing defense.

FHE's Jessie Fatum struck first, in the 48th minute, following up a shot by Senior Layne Vandenberg with a rebound shot of her own.

Down 1-0, Coopersville seized the momentum and equalized on a through ball just seven minutes later.

Again it was Coopersville in the 66th and 69th minutes, capping the scoring for the night, and handing the Hawks their fourth defeat on the season.

The JV Hawks defeated Coopersville 4-0 earlier in the evening.

FHE Soccer opens its OK Gold Conference schedule on Wednesday, hosting Hastings in a 6:45pm game.
