FHE Soccer Alumni News, 10/5/2010

Fred Smyser (FHE Class of 2010) continues to fare well at Olivet College.  The Comets are 7-2-1 and Fred is fourth on his team in total scoring.  Olivet plays two home games this week:  10/6 at 4pm versus Trine and 10/9 at 2:30pm versus Adrian College.

Ben Thomas (FHE Class of 2010) has played in 9 games to date, having started 5 of those.  His Tiffin Dragons are 5-5-0 overall and meet up with Urbana on 10/8 for their next match.

Lawrence Murray (FHE Class of 2010) is a member of nationally-ranked Calvin College (NCAA Div 3).  The Knights are 9-1-0 overall and have two games this week:  10/6 at Alma at 4pm, and a 2:30pm home game on 10/9 with Albion College.

Kyle Haverkate (FHE Class of 2010) is having a strong season at Aquinas College.  He has started 9 of their 11 games and the Saints have compiled a 9-2-0 record.  Kyle plays two home games this week:  10/5 at 4pm and 10/9 at 3pm.

Graham Wallace (FHE Class of 2010) is the #2 goalkeeper at Alma College.  Graham has been fighting an injury to his knee and has started one game this season.

Zach Myers (FHE Class of 2009) is having a fine season at Saginaw Valley State University.  The team is 6-3-2 on the season and Zach has tallied 3 goals and 1 assist, including the overtime game-winner at Davenport University on 9/25.

Zac Tolsma (FHE Class of 2008) is a starter for his Cornerstone University team.  The Golden Eagles are 4-5-1 on the year and have their next game in town on 10/13 at Aquinas College at 3:30pm.
